February 7th, we will be celebrating our 100th day of school.
Please help your child decorate a Paper Hat with 100 things. Using a paper grocery bag or construction paper, make a head band around your child’s head (about 4 inches wide). Take 10 strips of paper (1-2 inches wide) and attach them around the edge of the head band and let them hang down like a 10 legged spider. Pull all the strips of paper together and attach them at the top.
Put 10 items on each strip of paper so there will be 100 items in all. They will be modeling for and sharing their ideas with their classmates. They can do 100 of the same thing or 10 different items, whatever works, as long as there are 100 things!!
Some ideas are stickers, cotton balls, Q-Tips, drawings, feathers and pennies. Use your imagination, anything goes!! Have Fun!!!
